Serving The Community and Embracing the Arts

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are an integral part of the work we do at Hammonds House Museum. They play an extremely important role in assisting with the day-to-day tasks, making guests feel welcome and well attended to, educating visitors about our exhibitions, upkeeping the archives, lending ideas and expertise for special events and so much more.  As goodwill ambassadors for the museum volunteers provide visitors with positive and lasting impressions both inside the museum and outside in the community.  We are looking for an energetic team of people who are as passionate about art, culture and community as we are. Most assignments are project-based and take place in a variety of departments.

Volunteer assignments are available in the following areas:
Administration
Communications
Exhibitions and Programs
