Artist, scholar and curator Kevin Sipp leads us on an African Diasporic trip through art history, contemporary art and Futurism in this precursor to his 2018 professional development for artists course. This 90-minute presentation provides a foundation for artistic and curatorial practice. In addition to being of great benefit to artists, the presenation is designed to provide the general public with core knowledge that will be helpful as they expand their own understanding of Black art and culture.
As a Hammonds House Museum Public Program this presentation is free for members and the cost of museum admission for non-members. Members may register with the code MEMBERBENEFIT.
