house is seen in the architecture, furnishings and decorative art. Couple this sense of historical perspective with art and culture of the Africa Diaspora and you have a venue
that provides a "one of a kind" experience for guest to enjoy. As a visual arts museum
with five to six changing exhibitions a year, the ambiance, settings and surroundings are constantly changing to set the tone of uniqueness.
Spring and summer allow enjoyment of the garden that adorns the rear exterior of the house. Two levels of bricked terraces provide ample room for groups of varying sizes.
The West End Room which leads to the garden area is appropriate for indoor gatherings.

Kitchen
Kitchen and dining areas are available for food set up and service. Kitchen Contains refrigerator/freezer, double oven, microwave oven, electric cook top, double compartment steel sink, over 12 feet of counter space.
Although the exhibition spaces are not available for rental we invite your guest to visit the galleries and enjoy the artwork

Rental Hours Hammonds House Museum can be rented on any day or evening of the week, exclusive of Mondays. Events are rented for 4 hours (includes clean up time). A 4 hour Setup time the day of the event prior to start of the event can be allocated free of charge. Set up time is to be agreed upon by both Renter and Hammonds House Staff during completion of the application.
A 2 hour rehearsal time can be allocated, free of charge depending upon the availability of the facility.
Request for rental of any portion of Hammonds House Museum must be made via a completed and signed application form. Application and payment must be completed at least 30 days prior to the event. To download rental application and package click the following link:
